No, you don't need egg poacher

Sep 25, 2018

Probably my most regrettable purchase in a while.

This silicon & plastic made egg poacher claimed could be used either with microwave or in a covered skillet, what for more, it can cook two eggs at a time.

But the timing can be really hard to figure out, I always end up with overcooked eggs or liquid like egg white. Besides did I mention to use it in microwave you'll need to puncture egg yolk first? Doesn't sounds very hard, right? If only the yolk is not soft and slick meanwhile covered in its own vitelline membrane...

To make things better if you cook long enough your egg will smell like plastic... I'm pretty sure it is BPA free but this can still make you lose your appetite.

Believe it or not, if next time anybody visiting me is brave enough to stay for dinner, he/she would be tasting something not so forgettable in his/her rest of life.
